Following are a few items related to the programming and set up of the Panasonic 624 Telephone System.

Voicemail Related Items
Transferring a Caller to a Voicemail Extension
Without putting the person on hold,
Press VMT (the Voicemail Transfer button)
Press the persons extension button or enter their extension manually.
Hang up.
Retrieving Messages / In-Office
From your phone press INTERCOM then the MESSAGE button.
Retrieving Messages / Away from Office
Call in, when the Voicemail picks up, Press # 6, *, then enter your mailbox number.
Enter your password followed by the # button.
If an operator picks up the phone when you call in, the OPERATOR presses VMT then VM.
Press # 6, *, then enter your mailbox number
Enter your password followed by the # button.
Changing Personal Greeting
From your own phone, press the VM (voicemail) button or press INTERCOM 165
Press 5,1,1

Changing Your Password
From your own phone, press the VM (voicemail) button or press INTERCOM 165
Press 5,2
Enter your password followed by the # button.
Press 1 to accept.
Message-Waiting Indicators
You can have more than one message-waiting light on one phone, and several phones can show the status of one mailbox. (This depends on the system version you have).
Flip the rear memory switch to PROGRAM (or press PROGRAM if you have a PROGRAM button).
Press the button you want to use.
Dial 95.
Dial the extension number of the other phone.
Press STORE.
Flip the memory switch back to SET (or press the PROGRAM button if you have one).
